Sewer Use Rules
The purpose of the Rules Governing the Use of Public Sewers is to set uniform requirements for all users of the Authority's POTW (Publicly Owned Treatment Works), which consists of the wastewater collection system and water reclamation facilities. These rules enable the Authority to comply with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as well as other applicable federal and state requirements, and they provide for the public health and welfare by regulating the quality of wastewater discharged into the Authority's POTW.
A copy of the MWA Rules Governing the Use of Public Sewers is available here for your review.
