MWA recognizes Assistant Manager of Maintenance for distinguished career
Carey LaFavor served the Authority and its customers for 22 years
The MWA Board of Directors recognized Carey LaFavor (center) for 22 years of service, following his retirement as assistant manager of maintenance this fall.
One of the highlights of the November meeting of the Macon Water Authority (MWA) was the Board of Directors resolution recognizing the career achievement and recent retirement of Mr. Carey LaFavor, assistant manager of the Maintenance Department.
Carey worked at the MWA for 22 years, having joined the Authority on August 14, 1987. The resolution noted that he diligently and faithfully pursued the goal of rendering excellent service to the Authority and its customers, while conducting himself in a manner that reflected positively on the MWA.
“We’d like to express our sincere appreciation and deepest gratitude to Carey LaFavor for his 22 years of dedicated and distinguished service to the Authority, its customers, and the citizens of Macon and Bibb County,” noted Tony Rojas, executive director of the MWA, upon summarizing the proclamation.
