Sewer Use Rules

The purpose of the Rules Governing Use of Public Sewer is to set uniform requirements for all users of the Authority's POTWs (Publicly Owned Treatment Works; which consists of the wastewater collection system and treatment plants). These rules enable the Authority to comply with the provisions of the Clean Water Act and other applicable federal and state requirements. In addition, these codes provide for the public health and welfare by regulating the quality of wastewater discharged into the Authority's POTWs.
