MWA Hosting Stormwater Town Hall Meeting

Feb 2, 2022 by Lisa Golphin

The MWA will host a Stormwater Town Hall Meeting on Feb. 8, at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church at 1361 Fort Hill Street.

The Macon Water Authority (MWA) is hosting a Stormwater Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 5:00 PM at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church located at 1361 Fort Hill Street.

The event will be hosted by Reverend Willie Finney, Sr. pastor of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church and community partner of the MWA. The MWA will discuss the Stormwater Management Program’s ongoing efforts, the Stormwater User Fee that went into effect in January, and Stormwater Credits that are available to customers that can potentially offer a maximum fee reduction of 50%.

This is the first of many Stormwater Town Hall Meetings that will be hosted this year by the MWA, and all customers are encouraged to attend either in-person or online via Zoom.
