MWA Committee Appointments

While the MWA is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, policies and action items are referred to Committee by the MWA Board during its regular monthly meetings. Those referreals are then taken into consideration at the following or future monthly Committee Meetings.

The MWA Board Members are appointed by the MWA Chairman, and confirmed by the MWA Board, to serve on both MWA Standing Committees, which meet monthly, and Other Committees, which meet quarterly or as needed. The Pension Committee is unique in that MWA employees also are appointed to serve on this committee, to provide input from employees on issues and agenda items impacting their pensions.
