MWA Quick Pay is a Popular Payment Option

After establishing a partnership with local retailers to establish Quick Pay Service this summer, the MWA’s newest payment option is catching on with customers. According to Authority officials, since the inception of the Quick Pay Service in May, approximately 1,500 customers had utilized this convenient payment option to the tune of more than $76,000 in payments. At this current rate of customer adoption of Quick Pay Service, the MWA might eclipse 2,500 customer accounts by the end of the year. Quick Pay Service offers MWA customers the ability to pay their water/sewer bill at 18 area retailers scattered across Macon-Bibb, Houston and Monroe Counties. The participating Quick Pay retailers include eight Kroger stores, eight Walmart stores, as well as Macon Check Cashing and Discount Check Cashier of Macon. However, these locations can only accept payments on your MWA bill and are not staffed to help with other customer service activities.
